Tyro has developed a comprehensive range of programmes to deliver practically based skills to individuals and employers in the UK. Many of these programmes are equally relevant and capable of contextualisation for our international clients.

Our Approach

Although we have a number of programme structures available, we prefer to work with a client (both in the UK and overseas) to ascertain exactly what they are seeking to achieve with their training, and propose a programme to meet those exact needs, rather than working to a formulaic approach. Where relevant and desired, we can provide accredited programmes through the Institute of Leadership and Management’s (ILM) International Qualifications for managers at all levels of the organisation – from team leader to senior manager. We also have extensive university links enabling degree level programmes to be offered in a number of subject areas.

Our programmes which are being delivered currently include:

• Tyro secures generous support from the British Council’s Skills for Employability Project – to work with the Egyptian Banking Institute in Cairo link>>
• Skills for the World of Work” in Lebanon (through the British Council’s Skills for Employability programme) link>>
• Chainsaw safety in Sweden link>>
• Tyro is actively pursuing opportunities in the Middle East, the Baltic States, China and Nigeria, working with partner institutions, local businesses, the British Council and UK Trade and Investment.
